One of my large clients are currently looking for a Lead Infrastructure Solutions Architect, to help with a multi-geographical Desktop refresh Programme, partnered with a large focus on application readiness and virtualisation for the entire estate (circa 4,000 users).
Due to the nature of the role you will need to have the following experience:
- As this is quite a specific IT Transformation, you will need to have consistent experience of Desktop roll out, Refresh and Upgrade Projects, specifically around you work with Windows 10 and Office 365 (office 365 would be highly advantageous)
- The nature of the business will require you to have prior experience delivering these types of projects within insurance businesses, or financially regulated businesses (if you have insurance experience, this will hold you very highly regarded for the position)
- Technically this will be a hands on demanding role as well as having someone with leadership qualities, you must be able to get down into the lower level engineering detail as well as the higher level for senior stakeholders.
- Any Azure Cloud Computing experience would be nice to have
