A prestigious name in the City of London are hiring for a Lead IT Auditor to join their team of IT Audit professionals. This institution hires in a more creative way than much of the market and the emphasis is more on finding motivated individuals with a good understanding of audit process who are capable of expertly handling the many interpersonal and technical challenges in a typical internal audit role. You do not have to have a banking audit background to be considered. Candidates from other branches of financial services, public sector or commerce and industry can all be considered provided your CV is strong and you have the knowledge and experience of reviewing technical infrastructure areas e.g. databases, operating systems and cyber security controls.
You will be required to demonstrate that you can compile well-written audit reports and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Excellent English language skills are a must.
You will need technical IT Audit skills covering both infrastructure and cyber security and be capable of leading project teams, getting your sleeves rolled up and also dealing effectively with senior stakeholders.
