One of the UK's leading London Markets insurance firms is seeking an experienced Network Engineer/Architect to join their growing team in a key leadership position based in the city of London. The firm in question is one of the fastest growing firms in the city currently and are embarking a number of major changes across their tech team in 2019.
The role of Lead Network Engineer / Architect will focus on the design and delivery of network infrastructure globally Although you will look at wider IT Infrastructure initiatives you will have an SME focus on Networking design. You will also be responsible for working closely with other infrastructure SME's while working with 3rd party suppliers and vendors. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the exchange infrastructure globally.
To be considered for the role of Lead Network Engineer / Architect you will have:
- Strong background in IT Network design, build and delivery spanning multiple technologies
- Hands-on IT engineering experience
- Microsoft focused wider infrastructure skills
- Experience of working in the insurance sector is preferred
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors and outsourced suppliers
