Job Description

My client is seeking a Life Actuarial Manager to lead actuarial colleagues and drive collaboration with team members and counterparts across Product Development/Risk Management to ensure successful pricing and launch of Life & Health insurance products.

  • Support Team Lead in owning the timeliness, completeness & accuracy of product pricing deliveries:
  • Opportunity to co-create new and innovative Life & Health product ideas
  • Ensure accuracy and robustness in technical pricing
  • Highlight pricing technical issues, risks, and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders on product launches
  • Good exposure to Senior Management/C-suite
  • Opportunity to learn/apply new way of working (e.g. Design Thinking) and usage of new IT tools (e.g. Tableau and Alteryx) to pro-actively drive improvements on product pricing and implementation processes

Requirements:

  • Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary
  • 5+ years of Life / Health insurance pricing experience in the Singapore market
  • MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Prophet
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
