I am working with a global bank who are seeking a Life Actuary. The role requires someone with strong actuarial skills either from direct insurance background or the insurance arm within banking.
Preference would for a Head of/Chief Actuary looking for a broader scope.
The individual needs to have a strong commercial experience and make relevant recommendations in relation to products and asset liability.
This is a Global role but previous global experience isn’t necessarily essential, as long as the individual is used to working in a complex/matrix environment, and comfortable partnering with CEOs.
Other potential backgrounds are candidates with an investment banking background with strong knowledge of insurance, or someone from a corporate strategy/development background.
Career progression to CFO is part of the wider business plan.
