Our client, a leading player in the quant trading and asset management industry is currently looking for a hands-on Linux engineer to be part of their growing team on a permanent basis. You will be managing the organisation's existing infrastructure and take part in the design and management of future infrastructure solutions.
Key responsibilities
Designing and managing a variety of quant research platforms
Troubleshooting complex Operating Systems and Storage issues
Building various tools to improve performance and monitoring of systems
Improving efficiency through automation of configuration management and provisioning
Key Requirements
6-10 years of experience in deploying and managing large scale Linux infrastructure
Experience in local filesystem management (ZFS, xfs etc)
Extensive experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS) configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
Experience in IaC automation platforms (Ansible, Terraform)
Experience in deployments in cloud environments (AWS)
