We are working with a Series B funded start-up to expand their presence in Singapore/Asia and are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Engineering team. The start-up works on complex problems to improve health systems by using data driven insights to predict risk, optimize operational efficiency and improve clinical outcomes. The Machine Learning Engineer will enable the predictions and insights to be delivered in a scalable way working alongside medical practitioners and healthcare providers. Main Responsibilities:
- Implement, test and deploy Machine Learning systems using data from various sources
- Monitor the performance and functioning of machine learning models and pipelines
- Work with data scientists to build production quality code
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as medical practitioners and healthcare providers to implement new machine learning systems
Skills / Experience:
- Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and concepts
- Industry experience in building, testing and deploying Machine Learning systems
- Tools & Languages – Python, Pandas, Spark
- Big Data technologies – Spark, Hive
- Query Languages – SQL, Hive, Pig
- Team player and efficient communicator
