Responsibilities
- Assist department head to lead the Capital team and build the actuarial framework and process governance for emerging changes in regulatory framework, including HKRBC, BMA and IFRS17
- Provide technical and operational advice in IFRS17 implementation project including accounting and actuarial methodology, enhancement in existing models, product classification, measurement model, CSM calculations, and financial impact implications
- Assist the design and monitoring of the IFRS17 implementation timeline, and provide regular update/mitigation plan to senior management
- Monitor and review different capital related assignments, including annual policyholders’ dividend recommendation, risk analysis and regular review on strategic asset allocation
- Provide recommendation for new investment initiatives
Requirements
- Degree holder with FSA or equivalent qualification(s)
- Minimum of 6-year of relevant experience in the life insurance industry
- Knowledge/experience in ALM and market based balance sheet is an asset
- Strong technical skills and project management skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English & Chinese
