A global bank in need of reinforcing the Operational Risk Management team with an Operational Risk Manager who will lead SOx initiatives for APAC.
Requirements
- Review and assess adequacy of performance design and operating effectiveness.
- Drive improvements with global SOx team and wider control environment across the bank.
- Maintain internal documentation and provide training and guidance on a regular basis.
- Lead control framework updates and perform testing, reporting findings and tracking process on agreed remediation plans.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors for business & operational audits.
- Ad-hoc projects as they arise.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- 8 years’ experience in Risk Management for a bank and/or experience from a reputable audit firm.
- Experience in identifying, documenting and testing controls for SOx.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to navigate internal/external stakeholder relationships.
- Proactive and efficient, you have a keen eye for detail and a self-starter mentality.
