Whilst this role is client facing and will get involved in business development and sales, it lends itself more towards someone looking for a blend of COO and MD responsibilities.

You'll be charged with communicating and executing on the Group's vision and business plan and how this may be incorporated into strategy, organisation, resource planning, budgets and activities. Culturally you'll be there to build on the firms positive and proactive risk and compliance environment, setting the tone from the top and discharging the required functions under the SMCR. Finally you'll be expected to provide input into and support the launch of new products or services, or potentially expansion into new markets.

On the financial side you'll ultimately be held accountable for business growth in terms of revenue and EBITDA, agreeing a strategy for expansion early on in the role. Whilst the position is client facing and sales orientated to a certain extent, it's not expected to be too heavily involved in day to day business development activities. Regular face time and presentations internally and externally also goes without saying, be it a strategy presentation to external investors or support to a pitch to clients around a new product launch.

In terms of background we're keen to speak to people with at least 15 years of professional experience or equivalent in a Financial Services environment out of which at least 8 years or so has been spent in senior management. A good understanding of Corporate Governance, compliance and risk mitigation is key and we'd expect you to have worked in the UK/Europe and be familiar with common regulatory and compliance topics and themes. It's likely you'll be working for either one of two places: in-house at a fund or externally at a service provider or professional services firm given the need for specific industry experience.

Please note UK markets experience is essential and Visa sponsorship is not offered and you must be able to work freely in the UK.

The position is looking to commence interviews from early January and make a swift appointment with a salary pitched at £150-175K plus a cash bonus and LTIP/equity on offer.
