Eames Consulting are recruiting for a P&I Underwriter role for a large P&I underwriting team. The role is working in an existing and long-established underwriting team. The role will be focussing on all shipowners P&I business and will look to manage a team of people, so previous management experience is preferable. The company is part of a larger footprint with locations in major territories. The role is an important one which will manage and inspire brokers and key stakeholders. It will take ownership of the shipowners P&I book and possibly have oversight of the charterers liability book. Candidates will typically have at least 10 years' experience in the P&I market and may even have language skills with Dutch or French being a distinct advantage.
