An international insurance brand is looking for an entrepreneurial and innovative Insurtech Director to join their regional office based in Hong Kong. Successful candidate will sit within their regional team and work with some of the best talents in various functions across APAC.
About the Role
- Engage with internal stakeholders in the APAC region e.g. underwriting, claims, business development, account management to deliver data-based digital solutions to existing as well as new partners in the insurance industry
- Create and execute company’s innovation strategy for the APAC insurance market
- Deliver pitches at client meetings and industry seminars to engage and promote company’s insurtech products
- Responsible for tailoring and leading the co-creation of the solutions
- Support Head of APAC in growing and maintaining business in the region
- Leading knowledge sharing and learning amongst functions and between projects
About You
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the non-life commercial insurance space in digital enablement/ product development/ actuarial or other related functions
- Proven track records in the end-to-end process of proposing and launching technical innovation projects
- Underwriting experience is a plus, not a must
- Fluency in English and one or more Asian languages
- Passionate about latest insurtech development
