A leading consultancy is seeking to add someone part-qualified to their growing non-life actuarial function. This will involve working on a range of projects with external clients in the general insurance industry with the main focus being either reserving or capital expertise. The role is targeted at consultant level and will report up into one of the senior managers in the practice.
The ideal candidate will be making progress through the actuarial exams and have experience in reserving and/or capital modelling within the general insurance market. Working for a consultancy naturally involves lots of interaction with external clients and therefore excellent communication skills are expected or a strong desire to develop in that area.
This is an excellent platform to someone to come on board and take responsibility for key projects from start to completion. There will also be lots of variety with different projects needing support so this is a great chance to diversify your experience across multiple actuarial functions and work with different lines of business.
