A global private equity fund is looking to appoint a part qualified fund accountant into a newly created position owed to the impressive growth the business is experiencing.

The incumbent will join a team of circa twelve people in London and will report to an experienced fund finance director. The role will be responsible for supporting fund finance across all of the strategies including private equity, credit and real estate, offering a unique blend of exposure to the world of alternatives.

The environment is fast paced and the incumbent will be responsible for the day to day fund accounting and analysis, as well as supporting a busy investment team with ad-hoc requests.

A fully study package is on offer with a clear progression route to become a qualified fund accountant, taking on more responsibility as you move through the exams and master the day to day.

Culture is social, friendly and supportive and they operate a hybrid working setup. Compensation is c£35,000-40,000 with full study support and a performance-related bonus.

Requirements include:

  • Studying an accountancy qualification, i.e. (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
  • Prior experience in investment/fund accounting - i.e. from a fund administrator or similar business
  • Confident in dealing with a multitude of different stakeholders
