Job Description

Global Investment Bank requires a Lead PMO reporting into a Programme Director to help support a large scale integration

  • Able to implement end-to-end pmo governance and practices and processes, in alignment with the Bank's strategic goals and objectives
  • Able to provide market insight and improvement and innovation to the processes
  • Acknowledges and manages dependencies in the portfolio. Notifies the relevant stakeholders and leadership of certain dependencies and then able to resolve the issues through the process
  • Implement strategies on delivery
  • Able to successfully manage a large team of direct reports
  • Able to lead with a solution and problem solving oriented mind-set to develop agile practices, data driven decisions and process automation


Experience required:

  • Minimum of 10 years in a lead PMO (or similar) position in banking
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with proven leadership abilities
  • Strong knowledge of the system lifecycle development using various development models i.e. agile, waterfall, hybrid etc
  • Ability to promote the business value of the PMO team, building strong internal and external relationships
  • Strong analytical experience to report and maintain project/programme management
  • must have banking experience - ideally Investment or commercial banking
