Eames are currently working with an MGA, looking to bring on board a Portfolio Analyst to their growing team in London. You would be working alongside 3 other analysts and reporting into the Portfolio Manager working across all lines of business. The underwriting management team is a modest size so you will be able to have an immediate and very visible impact on the business.
Duties will include:
- Analysing underwriting performance across multiple business lines;
- Producing effective and accurate MI and high quality reports to agreed deadlines, monitoring key metrics and KPIs;
- Maintaining and updating stochastic analyses on a portfolio of insurance products.
A degree in Maths, Engineering or Statistics is desirable, as is 2+ years working within underwriting analysis and performance management. Strong IT literacy is essential, specifically using Excel (including VBA).
