Job Description

My client, an international specialty insurer and reinsurer, is looking for a Power BI Analyst(/Developer) to join their BI team and work in collaboration with the business to translate business needs into data solutions and reports. This insurer is around 400 employees across the UK and Bermuda.

The successful Power BI Analyst will:

  • Get creative by designing, building and deploying Business Intelligent solutions and reporting
  • Maintain and support the data analytics platform
  • Improve and continually look to evaluate the Business Insight systems and reporting
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Create visualizations, dashboards and reports for requested projects

The success Power BI Analyst will likely have:

  • Previous experience of report building, possibly including custom visuals, dynamic reporting, data modelling, performance-oriented apps or similar
  • Knowledge of DAX / data modelling
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders, understand them and turn them into a powerful story
