A global commercial lines insurer is seeking a part-qualified actuary to join the London-based analytics team. This will be a reserving focused role with aspects of capital modelling and business planning. Duties range from quarterly reserving to parameterisation of reserve and insurance risk capital models.
The ideal candidate will be making good progress through the actuarial exams and have experience in a general insurance capacity. Experience with ResQ is desired but not essential. This will involve lots of interaction with both underwriters and the technical pricing team so strong communication skills are essential.
