A successful Surrey based insurer is looking to add a Pricing Manager to their successful and collaborative Pricing Team. The successful candidate should have around 5 years of previous experience within GI pricing
Key responsibilities
- Update and develop pricing models.
- Provide analyses of pricing models and performance.
- Report upon findings and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report upon claims performance.
- Contributing to the ongoing evolution of the business’ pricing function.
- Leading and managing a team of Pricing Analysts, ensuring effective delivery of their work whilst guiding and encouraging their development.
- Deal with senior managers and stakeholders.
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a mathematical/statistical/scientific discipline.
- Around 5 years of experience in a general insurance pricing role.
- Strong analytical mind-set and the ability to present and report on analyses.
- Experience using Emblem, Radar, R or similar, as well as strong Excel skills.
- Strong data processing and programming skills.
- Experience in managing a team, or the aspiration and ability to do so.
