Job Description

A successful Surrey based insurer is looking to add a Pricing Manager to their successful and collaborative Pricing Team. The successful candidate should have around 5 years of previous experience within GI pricing

Key responsibilities

  • Update and develop pricing models.
  • Provide analyses of pricing models and performance.
  • Report upon findings and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and report upon claims performance.
  • Contributing to the ongoing evolution of the business’ pricing function.
  • Leading and managing a team of Pricing Analysts, ensuring effective delivery of their work whilst guiding and encouraging their development.
  • Deal with senior managers and stakeholders.

Key requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a mathematical/statistical/scientific discipline.
  • Around 5 years of experience in a general insurance pricing role.
  • Strong analytical mind-set and the ability to present and report on analyses.
  • Experience using Emblem, Radar, R or similar, as well as strong Excel skills.
  • Strong data processing and programming skills.
  • Experience in managing a team, or the aspiration and ability to do so.
