Job Description

A highly successful and growing Surrey based insurer is looking to expand their pricing team. Experience within an optimisation role is considered highly desirable, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. 

Key responsibilities:

  • The building, maintenance and development pricing models.
  • Analysis of pricing performance and trends, presenting results to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of the customer life time value framework and monitoring ongoing performance.
  • Making commercially sound recommendations to improve profitability and pricing for the business.
  • Analysing trading performance and providing input into the trading dashboard.
  • Aiding in the delivery and development of the pricing strategy across the business.
  • Provide analysis on competitor pricing and performance as well as customer behaviour. 

Key requirements: 

  • Previous experience in pricing, specifically within price optimisation.
  • Good knowledge of statistical modelling software such as Radar, Earnix, Emblem, R or similar.
  • Strong communication skills – able to clearly explain and present complex information to those who may not have specific industry knowledge.
  • An analytical mind-set coupled with the ability to think outside of the box and challenge existing practices in order to drive improvement.
