A newly created and high potential product control opening has become available with a highly regarded commercial bank. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing product control function here in Singapore, as a result of plans to keep the product control team close to the traders and risk team.
Reporting to the Asia product control director, you will work as part of a team focusing on 3 main product lines. Specialising in one product initially you will be given the opportunity to develop your knowledge by taking on alternative products over time.
As product controller you will be responsible for the preparation and validation of daily P&L, reconciliations, balance sheet substantiation, as well as being able to explain the P&L outcome and provide a detailed breakdown of the balance sheet items.
As this is a front to back role, it offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress further in the field of product control, as you will be guided by the more senior members.
The successful applicant will be an outgoing individual with a good solid understanding of the product control process and concept, and have the confidence and capability to partner closely with the traders.
