Job Description

A successful, growing InsurTech firm is looking for a Product Owner to join their team, utilising their expertise to play a pivotal part in their growth, as they diversify and expand their key service offerings. The firm is going through an exciting change and operates with a strong sense of teamwork, paired with autonomy in order to endorse the progression and development of their employees.

The responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with key stakeholders, expressing their needs as user stories.
  • Liaising with the technology team, understand velocity and WIP limits and providing backlog.
  • Conduct analysis of business problems/potential growth and creating business solutions to solve them.
  • Organise and lead workshops to extract requirements from stakeholders to enable streamlined delivery.
  • Create project diagrams, including Business Process Models, Wireframes, User Stories etc.

You will have/be:

  • Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile (Kanban) environment
  • Experience organising/leading workshops
  • General insurance knowledge (ideally in Home/Motor insurance)
  • Full software life cycle knowledge
  • Experience with software in distributed systems, cloud based systems would also be advantageous
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis (preferred)
