Eames is currently working closely with a large carrier who is looking for an experienced Professional and Financial Lines Claims adjuster to join their team based in Surrey. Our client is also open to adjusters with experience in specific products lines within Professional and Financial lines, looking to broaden their exposure.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust claims within approved authority limits across portfolios of Professional & Financial business in line with the company strategy and legal compliance.
- Act as a referral point for other claims adjusters in the team.
- Liaise with Coverholders, claims brokers and third parties when appropriate.
- Engage with customers and brokers to obtain feedback and respond in line with the company’s policies.
- Undertake negotiations with external parties in order to effectively limit losses from claims.
- Report loss ratios to the claims manager and Professional & Financial Lines underwriters.
