6-month fixed-term contract for a Project Specialist to join a boutique private equity firm in a role that will support their CFO with the implementation and optimisation of an investor reporting database and software.
This role is a mix of IT and Finance best suited to someone who enjoys tweaking and playing around with systems, improving reports/templates and fine-tuning software.
High-level responsibilities:
Support final stages of data migration from legacy systems, working with external consultants
Tweak and/or build new reports from existing templates including working with external consultants where necessary to test data and optimise output so it's fit for purpose for Partners / Investors
Define security parameters, write script
Seek input from the business about what reports and templates are needed
Support integration with general ledger and investment accounting systems
Ad hoc project work
Your background:
Experience tweaking Finance Systems and/or databases ideally in a private equity or funds management company
Technical proficiency in Excel (macros), VBA, SQL or alike; programming or data analytic software experience also very useful
Likely somewhere in the region of 4 to 5 years experience or equivalent
Able to start this role by end of June at the latest and commit for at least 6 months
Hybrid working and central London location.
