Urgent 3 month role (potentially longer) for an experienced financial accountant with advanced Excel skills to join a growing fund administration and consultancy business to cover a project requirement. Experience in funds or financial services is not essential however advanced Excel skills to macro level is essential.
The company are a relatively new set up in the UK and owing to significant client wins, their Head of Finance needs support on a significant piece of work.
The role will focus on setting up workbooks and templates in Word and Excel that would aim to automate the production of financial statements for 100+ entities. We need someone with advanced Excel skills who can build embedded tables to extract data from the firms fund accounting software to speed up the production of full accounts for these entities. The role would work closely with the BAU fund accounting team to support from a technical accounting perspective, hence why industry experience isn't essential.
Background wise we're looking for someone who can start first week of January with advanced Excel skills and an understanding of how to prepare full sets of accounts from source data through to financial statements. You'll need to be comfortable operating autonomously and in a fluid operating environment.
Day rate on offer is open and can be flexible with the ability work via a ltd co until end of March.
