Overall purpose of role

This role is for a project manager (PM) supporting a strategic and regulatory change team that will drive the delivery of the program. The project manager will be responsible for helping to drive the content and the change management process and the delivery into one to several workstreams.

Duties of the PM will include:

  • Coordination with other CIB and group-wide stakeholders across the bank (front office, technology, operations, legal, credit, compliance) to identify and document business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into executable program of delivery to drive change and achieve program objectives and document the high level designs
  • Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritises competing business demands
  • Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
  • Obtains key inputs from front to back delivery and architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies
  • Actively gets involved in all phases of the delivery from requirements to development to testing to release to post go live activities
  • Fulfil program governance requirements including senior stakeholder reporting, program forum management, and administration of key program documents
  • Manage and support management information reporting to senior stakeholders (in partnership with PMO); including transparency in status communication and advising on ad-hoc senior stakeholder requests
  • Facilitate workshops and chair working groups with senior attendees
  • Ensure neutrality position is maintained to take independent view on status and risk/issue management to bring best solution for the firm

Requirements

Must have:

  • Extensive experience in investment banking (front office, operations, technology, etc.) business analysis or consulting or project management
  • Extensive business analysis and project management experience in significant transformative change initiatives managing front to back initiatives through various phases of software development lifecycle
  • Extensive Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
