Job Description

We are working with a carrier who are looking to hire someone who will lead a Southern sales region and maintain commercial partnerships with strategically important intermediary accounts. You will run the sales and broker performance for your region and your strategic account nationally. You will develop account strategies and plans, manage sales pipelines and performance against sales targets. This will involve co-ordinating the involvement of executive stakeholders, sales, marketing, customer, operations, claims and underwriting colleagues and facilitating their engagement with the relevant people in the intermediary organisation. You will also coach and develop less experienced colleagues and have responsibility for 3-4 direct reports.

Candidates will need to manage sales and broker performances a region and demonstrate that they have previously looked after specific intermediary accounts (i.e. broker relationships). It is important that candidates can demonstrate experience of dealing with annual sales targets and monitoring broker performance for the Southern region. The role includes having responsibility for the direct management of sales teams for the allocated region and will also require using influencing and communication skills to manage strategic intermediary accounts.
