A globally leading Investment Bank is seeking a new Regulatory Reporting Capital Associate to add to their ever-growing and highly experienced Capital Regulatory Reporting department of Finance at their head office in London. This role has been created through an internal move, and is the ideal opportunity for a candidate who is looking to build their career in a top tier bank.

Your duties:

  • Production of the quarterly credit risk, CVA and large exposures reporting requirements including a critical review of COREP templates.
  • Support for the production of credit risk elements within daily monitoring process for both capital solvency and large exposure inputs.
  • Analysis and challenge on regulatory capital drivers and key variances.
  • Focus on control environment and monitoring / driving process efficiency - including continual challenge of operating model.
  • Regular involvement in projects and policy matters that impact the legal entity and the financial reporting function.
  • Key point of contact within the Reg team for other areas of Finance and the Business

Your profile shall include:

  • Proven relevant experience in a Regulatory Reporting role within another investment bank.
  • Good working knowledge of COREP and CRD4 regulations.
  • Fundamental understanding of investment banking products i.e. derivatives.
  • Strong academic background with a minimum of a 2:1 Degree.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge within the regulatory reporting space.

This role will involve regular interaction with key stakeholders across both the finance and risk divisions. It is therefore essential that you have strong interpersonal skills. This position offers realistic career progression opportunities into a VP role in the future or an internal move into a credit risk role.
