This established and highly regarded reinsurance team is looking to appoint an individual to support their Account Executives in the structuring, management, and placement of Trade Credit, Surety & Bond, as well as Political Risk Treaties into the UK and International Markets.
You will be working across a small selection of clients and will be jointly responsible for establishing the client needs, structuring the treaty including all potential parameters, liaising with treaty reinsurers, managing any client exception requests, completing slips, carrying out any other necessary tasks around the placement.
Due to the nature of this market, the client is looking to hire from the primary / direct markets and is willing to consider people from the following backgrounds:
- Trade Credit Broker
- Trade Credit Underwriter
- Political Risk / Structured Credit Broker
- Political Risk / Structured Credit Underwriter
- Reinsurance Underwriter / Technician
This is a highly technical role which requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work with high volumes of data, strong communication skills, a methodical approach to work, as well as the practical experience detailed above.
Depending on your personal preference, this role could develop into a full Account Executive taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients, alternatively it could progress into a technical lead. Highly generous salary on offer for the right candidate.
