Job Description

Our client, a distinguished speciality risk insurance organisation, is looking for an actuary to join their reserving team. This actuary will provide support to the continuation and development of the reserving processes, while getting exposure to multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reserving analyses and produce reports in accordance with timelines

  • Analyse existing processes and tools while help change or create new tools to improve processes

  • Support implementation of reserving softwares

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience, preferably in some commercial or professional lines

  • ACAS or FCAS commitment

  • knowledge of basic actuarial techniques and standards

  • Excel proficiency

  • Experience with reserving software, SQL, VBA, R, Python and ReMetrica is a plus
