Risk Manager, Enterprise Risk Management
This role is based in London however some travel may be required as it becomes possible to do so. The Risk Manager at this firm will be supported by a pool of resources based in London and India.
This role will promote the embedding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) across Europe, Middle East and Africa by enhancing risk management activities towards the achievement of regional corporate objectives.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Development of risk intelligence and overseeing the automation of existing risk metrics and promoting its use by the first line and senior management
- Performance of technical/actuarial deep-dive reviews, co-ordination and optimisation of the ORSA process, drafting relevant reports as well as ongoing reporting and monitoring thereof. This includes but is not limited to the production of legal entity annual ORSA reports, risk/actuarial analysis in respect of insurance/underwriting exposures, reserving and financial (credit & market) risks as may be required
- Assess relevant risks in terms of portfolio management, technical pricing approaches, key risk mitigation strategies and evaluation of emerging risks.
