Job Description

Due to continued growth in the region, our client is seeking experienced auditors to lead and manage engagements from start to finish. Working as part of an experienced team this role will have business coverage across retail, wealth management, corporate banking as well as infrastructure and financial crime compliance. Some travel required.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Supporting the senior auditor with initiating and leading the delivery of audits, some major and highly complex, based on the critical assessment of the business, and the governance, risk and internal control frameworks
  • Driving the coordination and collaboration of a consistent delivery of audit work across the global businesses and global functions
  • Engaging with and providing strategic advice to internal stakeholders by utilising knowledge of the business and the governance, risk and regulatory frameworks
  • Managing the interface between internal and external stakeholders to ensure a common approach to and understanding of key deliverables
  • Play an integral role in annual as well as ongoing audit

Key requirements:

  • Strong educational background to degree standard
  • Relevant professional qualification in accounting or auditing with a broad and comprehensive understanding of financial services, risk and control concepts
  • Demonstrate senior management ability within a large global organisation with progressive career history
  • Ability to build constructive and effective stakeholder relationships
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • Cantonese or Mandarin speaker an advantage
