I am working with several leading global banks, who are looking for backend developer in Hong Kong.
Each of the positions are greenfield, due to expansion of product/ business lines and so are opportunities to also work with a new team, built from the ground up.
Job brief
The main focus for work will be on greenfield development and the continuous improvement of their existing systems
- Projects will include building web and mobile APIs, developing microservices to evolve our architecture and build our products
- TDD, DDD and CICD
- Technology stack is based on Java
- Kubernetes and Docker are used to schedule and run services
- Kafka for our asynchronous message queue
- REST Apis
- Infrastructure running on Cloud (Google/AWS) across the different clients
Requirements
- Fluent with Java
- 3 years (or above) experience in back-end development
- Graduate Degree (or above) in Computer Science/Maths/Physics/similar
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results driven personality
- Self starter, who can work independently
- Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
