Our client is a global reinsurer and they require a Senior Casualty Underwriter to join an existing team who have a large book of business which is primarily consisting of London Market clients. The book is mainly London Market excess of loss but they do have an appetite for some quota share lines. The book contains a wide variety of casualty from low level EL to high level FI and is all other classes of casualty with a separate team running motor.
Candidates will need London Market experience of specialty casualty reinsurance business and whilst actuaries do all the modelling, if someone has pricing experience, then the knowledge is useful from an underwriting perspective.
Candidates without London Market reinsurance experience will not be considered for the role.
