A global market insurer is looking to bring on a qualified Senior Catastrophe Analyst to join the Exposure Management team in their London office.
The role will involve the support of underwriting teams with modelling analysis for business and risk decision making, as well as both recording and modelling exposure information, the production of data for regulatory returns including: RDS, Lloyd's CAT Model (LCM) and the production of internal management information.
You will become a key member of the team, providing support to the senior teams and becoming a lead in exposure management related projects. You will further learn about classes modelled in RMS and AIR and how best to use Catastrophe models.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of third party catastrophe models. Be highly analytical, with an ability to process and understand data quickly and creatively. Have a strong knowledge of Direct and Treaty property insurance concepts and an intermediate understanding of SQL.
