Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst £80,000 + Bonus
A large Broker is looking for a Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst to join their team. This role will be based in London focusing on reinsurance and will work with model evaluation teams across the globe so an additional language would be preferred. In this role you will conduct research on natural perils and their influences on existing catastrophe models.
To be successful in this role experience in developing and evaluating catastrophe models along with experience using a programming language such as SQL, Python, and R is necessary. The ideal candidate will also have strong presentation skills and a PhD or Masters (or equivalent) in physical sciences preferably meteorology.
