A leading insurer is looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist to join their London-based pricing team. Here, you will provide technical support and impart your knowledge of data science and machine learning to optimise current front-end business solutions.
Key responsibilities will include executing pricing delivery plans, developing data products and applying expertise to identify issues and consequently provide solutions that will increase profitability of the company.
Modelling data and communicating the analysis to stakeholders will also fall within your remit.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree or PhD in computer science or a numerical discipline. They will also require experience of building predictive models and have outstanding data manipulation capabilities. As a result, experience using python, R, SAS etc. is a necessity.
