A highly successful West London/Surrey based insurer is currently looking to identify a an experienced Data Scientist to join their Pricing Function and take the lead on the research, development and implementation of emerging technologies across the business. You'll have a key focus on predictive analytics and machine learning solutions, taking ideas from concept through to trial and implementation.
The successful candidate will have experience in R and/or Python coding and have a strong understanding of predictive analytics and machine learning can be applied and used to improve pricing capability within insurance. Strong data management skills (ideally using SAS, SPSS or Stata) are a must as well as having strong stakeholder management and communication skills. This will be a forward facing role, with the requirements to explain complex concepts to non technical audiences and to gain buy in from senior management and stakeholders throughout the business.
This position attracts a generous annual salary of up to £90,000 as well as a cash allowance and generous bonus/benefits package.
