Senior DevOps Engineer, UK / ~ £70,000

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a prominent UK telecommunications company. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a company witnessing great transformation.
You need extensive automation knowledge to aid development teams reach their goals. You also need strong production-level programming skills in (Python, PowerShell, vRO JavaScript) and experience with VMware products. You also need to be familiar with configuration management/ IaaS toolsets and continuous integration principles and tools.
The salary is £70k, depending on skills and experience. This is the ideal opportunity to majorly contribute in software-defined datacenters. You will also engage with other teams ensuring their input is included in the product. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cloud projects as well as pinpoint challenges and progress. Lastly you will be a crucial part in automation and security.
Essential skills and qualifications
Extensive automation knowledge
Strong production-level programming skills in (Python, PowerShell, vRO JavaScript)
Experience with VMware products (vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Orchestration (vRO), Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) and VMware NSX)
Familiar with configuration management/ IaaS toolsets such Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform and Puppet
Continuous integration principles and tools, Concourse, Jenkins and CodeStream
