High profile Senior Finance Manager opportunity working in the real estate investment arm of a medium sized and highly acquisitive financial services group. This pivotal senior position will oversee a diverse portfolio of real estate assets in almost a mini group finance position, with the vast majority of assets based in Western Europe across residential and commercial developments. You will be hungry to work within a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment and to take on a challenging, business facing role.

Based in London you will manage the finance teams in Germany and a couple of other European locations who provide a full accounting and financial reporting service to the company's property portfolio. The role encompasses all aspects of financial and management accounting, financial analysis and oversight of tax compliance and reporting. You will also be responsible for maintaining the monthly books, records and accounts for a number of group companies covering activities outside of Germany. You must be self-motivated with a proactive and commercial approach which consistently aims to make innovations and improvements to the business. The role will suit an intelligent and flexible team player with strong communication skills and an ability to work and manage teams.
The ideal profile will be someone who is degree educated with formal accounting qualifications - ACA, CA or equivalent and likely around the 5 to 8 years post qualified market or similar. There's a strong preference for someone who's worked in a small to medium sized business, given this is a very hands on role. Longer term the company have around 150 people in London and a sizeable finance team with plans to continue growing and fund raising in the near future.
