A global alternative asset manager is urgently seeking an experienced Fund Controller - preferably coming from a background in private equity and/or closed end funds. The business are mainly known in the private equity space and have expanded heavily into Europe over the last few years with several billion in AUM.
Owing to an internal promotion they're looking for someone to join in a senior role, working closely with the investment team on a multi-billion £ fund. This role would suit someone looking to get away from a pure reporting or fund operations based position, as responsibilities will be focused on deal support, fund structuring, supporting fund raising, financial due dilligence, investor relations and very high level oversight of fund accounting and other operational matters.
We're looking for someone who has a background in closed ended funds and experience across finance/operations as well as deal support. You'll need formal accounting qualifications - ACA/CA preferred - and proven experience in a reasonably autonomous working environment, working with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders across front, middle and back office.
Salary on offer is ~£90-110K base plus up to 50% bonus.
