Our client is looking to hire a Senior Underwriter who has a specialism within construction casualty. Writing profitable business in line with the underwriting plan, the successful candidate will have 5+ years' underwriting experience within the London Market focusing on international liability business. As a Senior Underwriter, you will possess excellent negotiation skills and extensive knowledge of liability wordings / clauses. The construction book is a mix of annual and projects which are both on a primary and excess layer basis. The book is heavily skewed to Canada, UK and Australia and is generally written on Lloyd's paper. All applicants are expected to be experienced within general liability and ideally with experience of writing construction as part of a portfolio.
