Eames is currently working with a leading Lloyd’s syndicate who are looking for a Senior Insurance Technician to join their team based in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing re/insurance lineslips and binders into the company systems including via Xchanging.
- Chasing bordereaux and liaising with the finance team in order to update records and draft binders, create LPANs and FDOs.
- Input and process claims bordereaux.
- Help identify process improvement opportunities and provide support to implement changes.
- Resolving stakeholder queries including both brokers and clients.
- Provide on-going support to the Underwriting teams and Manager.
- Work to help exploit new business opportunities.
- Act as a referral point for more junior members in the team.
Key requirements:
- An in depth technical knowledge of ECF, Xchanging and LPAN systems.
- Experience liaising with multiple functions of an insurance company.
- Previous experience in a technical insurance role.
- Cert CII qualifications preferred.
