Senior Java Developer/ Technical Architect wanted for a global financial services business based in central London. You will be working on a global complex high profile system that is the heart of the business. This is for someone who is a senior developer doing architectural design work or someone who is currently a hands-on technical architect. It is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team working on a strategic asset with a pipeline of key business projects lined up.
Skills:
• Java OR C# Development & strong coding
• High-potential candidate with plenty of enthusiasm, ability to learn quickly and a passion for good design
• Agile software development life cycle experience
• At least two years hands-on technical architecture experience acting as design authority and SME
• Hands-on development experience working on a complex web application using at least one popular web framework (e.g. JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC or equivalent)
• Relational Databases including SQL server, SQL and ORM technologies (e.g. JPA2, Hibernate or equivalent)
