My client is a market leading insurer with a strong brand name and a global footprint. They are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead a team and manage the company's local business unit's expenses among other duties. Qualified accountant and managerial experience is obligatory and English and Cantonese a must.
Job duties:
- Update senior management in managing company's expenses
- Lead monthly expense reporting processes
- Supervising expense budgeting and approval processes
- Leading team in expense budgets and forecast preparation, while also cooperating with other departments
- Support the IFRS 17 accounting standards implementation
Requirements:
- University degree
- Qualified accountant/actuary
- Minimum 10 years experience with 6 at management level
- Strong grasp of life insurance and it's financial processes
- Strong business sense
- Excellent stakeholder management and the willingness to challenge the status quo
