Job Description

My client is a market leading insurer with a strong brand name and a global footprint. They are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead a team and manage the company's local business unit's expenses among other duties. Qualified accountant and managerial experience is obligatory and English and Cantonese a must.

Job duties:

  • Update senior management in managing company's expenses
  • Lead monthly expense reporting processes
  • Supervising expense budgeting and approval processes 
  • Leading team in expense budgets and forecast preparation, while also cooperating with other departments
  • Support the IFRS 17 accounting standards implementation

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Qualified accountant/actuary
  • Minimum 10 years experience with 6 at management level
  • Strong grasp of life insurance and it's financial processes
  • Strong business sense
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the willingness to challenge the status quo
