Eames are working with an established Lloyd’s insurer to help recruit an Modelling Developer to help drive improvements and development to the company’s catastrophe modelling, exposure management and technical pricing capabilities.
You will provide mathematical and programming support to Underwriting modelling, deploying analytics tools and automation to many modelling processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop aggregation and scenario analysis capabilities across all classes
- Development of mathematical / catastrophe modelling solutions
- Develop, build and improve existing models as well as enhancing use of vendor models
- Implement model and methodology changes, supporting the business in understanding complex risks and exposures
Experience:
- 2+ years programming experience C# highly desirable
- Excellent understanding of catastrophe modelling requirements
- Strong ability to use SQL and understanding of R, Python
