A global insurance organisation based in the city requires a Senior Project Manager to deliver the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR / SM&CR) end to end.
**** Experience of project managing the end to end delivery of SMCR into a live environment is an essential requirement for this role. Only CV's with end to end SMCR delivery experience will be considered ***
Role details:
- The role will involve leading a team of a couple of other Project Managers, 2 Business Analysts and 1 PMO.
- The project is currently in the design phase and this position will be responsible for driving forward the delivery of the SMCR piece.
- This position will have accountability for both process and business change as well as technical change being supported by the IT function.
- This position will suit a highly experienced Project Manager who will have to demonstrate that they can interpret the guidance stipulated by the regulator, can apply this to the business environment and make it easily comprehensible for other stakeholders.
Required skills & experience:
- This position will require specific end to end experience of delivering SMCR (Senior Managers and Certification Regime) within a commercial environment. Ideally banking. Experience of doing a similar role for a regulator will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience of leading teams and interpreting regulations so that they can effectively be applied within commercial environments and easily understood by stakeholders across the organisation.
