Job Description

I am currently working with a global insurer who are currently looking to hire a Senior Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management department.

This is a newly created role and would suit someone who has previous experience as a Risk Analyst and is looking at making the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have the knowledge of risk management framework, including the risk appetite structure, linking up risk tolerance and key risk indicators to the holistic framework.
  • Support the interpretation of risk management, governance and regulatory opportunities in how they should influence business strategies.
  • Support solution design and delivery of risk management, governance and regulatory projects, including managing other colleagues, clients and/or relevant stakeholders.
  • Work together with the team on sales engagements with clients and provide wider support for related client engagements including business development, tenders, and ongoing client requirements.
  • High level knowledge on prudential regulatory agenda, including key areas of focus, thematic reviews and topical issues.
  • Support in producing high-quality materials such as evidential analysis, written documents, and presentations to short deadlines.

About you:

  • Professional experience relating to risk management, governance and regulation
  • risk analyst, with a passion for risk and regulatory issues including knowledge of risk management and governance frameworks, and regulatory issues in insurance.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate methods, results, and recommendations to wide range of audiences
