My client, one of the largest insurance brands globally, is seeking a Senior SecOps Engineer to improve and oversee the design and delivery of the Security Operations Strategy and operating model, in a division that proviodes the industry with some its highest quality software.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as as the Security Operations / Engineering SME throughout the division, leading and driving SecOps best practice across the various business segments.
Securing and assuring Cloud environments and working with solutinos in Iaas, Paas and SaaS
Being an active stakeholder in the cloud governance function
Successful Senior SecOps Engineers will:
Come from a hands-on Security Engineering background
Have experience of delivering SecOps Engineering within SaaS environments.
Possess excellent soft-skills and be comfortable taking on high visibility responsibilities within a SecOps / Iaas / Paas / Saas environment, facing off to senior CISO / BISOs.
Ideally, you will:
Possess advanced abilities reading and understanding code, logs and alerts, using specialist tools (Cloud native), as well as programming / scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Puppet, PowerApps), to automate tasks, to enable security at speed and scale
Come from a global Cloud-focused (Azure) B2B software house or division of a company.
