Senior Software Delivery Manager - Microservices, DevOps, Java, Cloud
A large financial services client of mine is currently looking for a highly autonomous Senior Delivery Manager, to work on a series of software delivery initiatives, as well as being an agile evangelist, as part of a company wide Technology Transformation Programme that will be running until the end of 2020.
Due to the nature of the role, you MUST have the following experience:
o Must have worked in an highly autonomous role working with large enterprise customers and programme level enterprise governance with multiple levels of hierarchy and opaque reporting lines (doesn't have to be banking) and have worked in a consistent Agile delivery leadership career
o From an Agile perspective, you will have needed to help implement it at scale, whilst leading at least two development teams on numerous occasions (can be both onshore and offshore) and at least three full project life-cycles.
o Must be well-versed in cloud computing delivery and DevOps principals (preferably with Azure) and continuous delivery concepts and automated ways of working
o Demonstrable capability of being able to manage agile delivery scope with strong stakeholder intervention
o Must have come from a Software Development background. Preferably from a Java programming background.
